I don't like how everything at the top of the shoe is connectedTheres a weird piece of fabric that surrounds the top of the shoe that basically connects the tongue to everything. I wasn't a fan of this, and it was impossible to put my foot in without my sock sliding all the way up my ankle, and that caused the sock to be uncomfortable on my toes. They are comfortable without socks, but I don't want to not wear socks in order to wear these shoes. This is my second pair of nikes in a couple months that I have been super disappointed with. I feel like the quality keeps getting worse and I wish they could make shoes the same way they did a few years ago.

I got these because my FreeRn 2017's were worn out and I decided to try the new version. Was hoping for better heel lockdown on the 2018's (heel strap!), but it's wobbly in the cup. Harder to get rocks out of grooves, too. Outsole shreds fast (starting to peel like dry skin, just 2 weeks in) and is missing those rubber pieces in high wear areas: overall, less durable than the 2017's on the bottom. The laces that came w the shoe are flat, long, and won't stay tied. Only plus: more bounce/comfort.

PerfectFinally, I have a running shoe that looks and feels great. My toes have room to move, and there is adequate support in the arch. Very happy to have these shoes! Will definitely order again.

A perfect fit!I'm so thrilled by these shoes! I have a wide foot and high instep and Nike shoes often are too narrow for me, but the toe box on these accommodates my width comfortably. I'm already thinking about buying another pair!
