Rated 4 out of 5 by Kyleditz22 Great Product Until It stopped charging
I bought the v800 about 4 months ago and used it about 4-6 days a week to workout. I would run, weight lift, swim, or even kayak! Aside from working out with it I wore it 24/7 as my main watch and occasionally took showers with it on with no problems.
Two days ago it was on low battery so I went to charge it. I left it on the charger for about 4 hours and when I took it off it was at the same percentage it was 4 hours prior to charging(10%). I thought at first that it could have been the outlet or that I plugged it in wrong so I charged it again and this time the screen went white. I looked at the charger port and there is a lot of corrosion around the edges. Not sure if this is the problem but it seems to be. I hope to get a watch from this because I cannot use it at all now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by xcskidude disappointed
This watch is very disappointing. The interface that connects it to the computer rusted from corrosion (due to sweat), and I had to send it in to get fixed (i.e. place a cover over the watch interface). Then, once it seemed to be working again, the bluetooth on its watch lost its connectivity to the strap, and a factory reset still will not restore connectivity. Overall, very disappointed with the product and its reliability. I am a professional skier who demands top performance from my training products, and this product is a failure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by HES2 again Critical Update of my review. Features still a 10
When this product finally came to the market in the middle of last year I was EXTREMELY excited and after using only a short time I wrote a "glowing review" based on the many features and uses of the product. In fact, I purchased a second one from someone who really had no need for many of the features. Well, when it comes to features this thing is STILL A 10 as they continue to upgrade the platform. however, as others have said, the design of the sync port was not meant to keep up with heavy use and multiple and constant sync failures plague the unit after being used a while. Cleaning is constantly required for the port to work and the plastic of the band broke around the port on my first unit. This detracts from the value and design grades for this product. The M400 hundred has fewer features but has a covered micro USB port. I wish the V800 did. It would change this update completely. I have recommended the M400 to the people I train and they have no problems. I love the added features of the V800 which now even gets notifications from my phone. So I put up with the maintenance of keeping the port clean .... Bummer. So I no longer recommend this unless someone REALLY wants or needs the features AND, as it does for me, those outweigh the flaws.
