Rated 5 out of 5 by Antitragus Polar FT7 Black/Red
The Polar FT7 works exactly as described by the company. The heart rate monitor is very accurate and the chest strap is very comfortable. The one-touch function is a neat and useful feature. The FT7 is also a really comfortable and nice looking watch. The black/red color combo with the "negative" screen is really unique and shows the number well. Overall, it is a great HRM watch.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hidarji Heart Rate Miniaturizes Randomly
No where on Polar's website and instruction manual does it have directions to enlarge the heart rate display which randomly miniaturized and I have wasted 1.5 hours scouring the net for this. There are many competitors out there which I may consider instead of Polar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotrod Great Product, Highly Recommend!
I used my FT7 Everyday for 4 years. I have used and abused my PolaFT7 and it still works great, I believe it is the most accurate training device I have used and I trust it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tim50 Nice Monitor Wrong Date
I just received my FT7, so far I like it and will try out the heart rate monitor tonight. I did notice after setting the date it is displaying the incorrect day of the week, even after double checking I had set it correctly. Not programmed for 2016 leap year?

Rated 1 out of 5 by Carlos Disappointed
This was my second FT7; I returned it after 2 frustrating attempted tries. I was getting the old ‘check heart rate transmitter’ message. The fabric chest strap on my first FT7 did the same thing despite following all maintenance directions to the letter. It did work well using my old T31 chest strap for about 1½ years before the watch died after having the battery replaced and several unsuccessful attempted to resuscitate it.
My older Polar heart rate monitor with the T31 chest strap worked just fine and lasted about 4 years of continuous use until it died. It owed me nothing. I did not hesitate to buy your FT7 after my first heart rate monitor died but I have experienced nothing but misery and disappointment since. Can’t you guys go back to what worked?
