In addition, the Retro 1s have a a tongue-backing that features the exclusive numbering system, and a solid rubber cupsole which features an encapsulated Air-Sole unit in the heel so you can have a more responsive stride, while the deep flex grooves and a circular traction pattern provide increased flexibility and traction.
