How is sales tax calculated?
Finish Line determines sales tax in accordance with state and local laws and regulations. We charge applicable sales tax on all merchandise purchased in states where we have stores.
Some states require us to collect sales tax on the shipping charges as well. In those states, sales tax will be calculated on the purchase price of the merchandise plus the shipping charges.

What forms of payment do you accept online?
Finish Line currently accepts credit cards, PayPal, Bill Me Later and Finish Line gift cards as forms of payment online.
Credit cards that Finish Line currently accepts online: debit cards (deducts from your bank account), Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover card.
Customers can use Finish Line gift cards online. Please enter the Gift Card number on the billing information page along with the pin number located on the back of the card. After you apply the gift card to your Order Total, you may enter your credit card information to pay the remainder of the balance. If the Gift Card covers the Order Total amount, it is not necessary to enter your credit card information and you may proceed to the next step. What if I do not have a credit card?
Finish Line will accept purchases made with a debit card as long as it has the Visa or Master Card logos. Other payment options include using PayPal or Bill Me Later. However, if none of these options apply, please visit one of our stores to pay with cash, check or money order.
When is my credit card charged?
You are not charged for your purchase until the item ships.
When an order is placed with Finish Line, we contact your card’s issuing back to confirm that your credit card has a valid number, and has not been reported as lost or stolen. This communication is done by completing an authorization for the full amount of the order. When the authorization is done, this will place a pending hold on the account for the amount of the order. Once your order has shipped, your card will be charged.
Authorizations are generally held on the card for 7-10 business days based on the individual banks processes. If your payment is declined due to lack of available funds, contact your bank to confirm if the reserved funds are authorizations, verify the amount of time they hold authorizations, and request that they remove any extra authorization to free up funds in your account.
What if my gift card does not have a PIN number?
