a group of runners to raise money for research while training for the New
York City Marathon. Team In Training (TNT), the world's largest endurance
sports training program, was born. Since then, more than 265,000 participants
have raised nearly $600 million in a concerted effort to accelerate cures for
blood cancers-leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma.
As a Team In Training member, you'll join men and woman - from novice to seasoned
athlete - for support, camaraderie and the knowledge that your commitment could
save lives. Experienced coaches will help you achieve optimal performance with a
four- to five-month comprehensive training program, including clinics on form,
technique, race strategies, injury prevention and nutrition. We'll help you every
step of the way.
