The toe box, lateral Phylon wing and contrast-colored Flywire on the medial side of the heel display eight dots that represent good luck.
Tensile fibers on the upper are part of Flywire, which provides maximum support with the least amount of materials. Suspension bridges were the inspiration behind Flywire. Individual, freerunning cables made from high-performance nylon are anchored at the eyestays and bottom of the shoe to provide incredible strength, hold and flexibility at an extremely light weight.
New LunarLite foam cushioning in the midsole is Nike's lightest foam ever - inspired by images of astronauts bouncing around on the moon. At a mere 13 ounces, Nike Hyperdunk offers a springy, bouncy feel under your foot.
